Alison & Will’s romantic lakeside wedding at West Shore Café was held in early July. Few couples put as much detailed thought into pulling off a destination wedding as Alison and Will did. It was a weekend full of well-thought personal details, meaningful and genuine moments and expressing gratitude.
Their weekend events included a Welcome Party held at their family home in Tahoe City, a wedding day full of liveliness and a Beach Day to close out the festivities. Wedding attendants on both sides consisted of siblings and the officiant was a close friend of the couple.
A color neutral color palette served as the basis for decor that was simplistic, natural and complimentary to the panoramic lakeside views. A custom mountain monogram was created and used consistently throughout the weekend’s paper and signage.
True to their thoughtful personalities, the bride and groom wrote personalized thank-you notes to each guest, which served as escort cards prior to the reception. Guests were treated to an al fresco plated dinner, followed by a dessert course from La Cocina, a favorite non-profit of the bride and groom. Guests were ushered inside for dancing and enjoyed s’mores around the firepits outside.
