Kristy and Blake were married at West Shore Café in late June, among their closest friends and family. Their sweet daughter was able to partake in the ceremony as their flower girl. Kristy often used the word “modern fairytale” to describe her vision, which consisted of dusty blues, pinks and ivory with touches of gold.
We mixed long wooden tables with long tables draped in ivory linen, and paired dusty blue napkins with modern gold flatware, personalized menus and blush votives. Floral design consisted of lush greens and blooms of blush and ivory, with pops of a brighter pink and peach. Color was certainly abundant on our tables! A friend of our sweet bride’s watercolored the invitations herself, creating a stunning portrait of the lake with the weekend’s events detailed on the map.
Following a heartfelt and emotional ceremony, guests dined outside at West Shore Café’s lakeside patio. In lieu of a traditional cake, guests were presented with a donut cake to enjoy, before spending the rest of the night celebrating with dancing.
