Wooden lanterns and purple votives from adorned the snowy floor, while a lounge area held large romantic canopy chairs. Delicate china patterns from Anthropologie’s Home collection made up a lovely table setting. Whimsical linens from La Tavola dressed the table. Paper goods came from Fig + Flourish and lush floral cam from Petal to the Metal. Gourmet hot cocoa and treats from Homage Bakery made up a yummy dessert table. The stunning gown was designed by Hayley Paige, on loan from Swoon Bridal. Meanwhile, hair and make-up was provided by Greco Rose. The gorgeous models were real life couple Cheyenne Kjessler and Matthew Soudan, just recently engaged themselves at the exact spot. In fact, they just exchanged their own vows in Bend, Oregon this last August. You can check out the full feature post on Ruffled’s blog here.

We held this elegant elopement styled shoot right in the middle of the Truckee River, just outside of Squaw Valley. The seasonal change inspired our team to create a moody atmosphere, while staying true to natural Tahoe elements. Surrounded by calm shallow waters and towering pine trees swallowed in moss, we were enveloped in a nature created moody environment. The surrounding fall elements created truly stunning Truckee River wedding inspiration.
Each table was designed with a romantic aesthetic in mind. Tables dressed in rich velvet textures were paired with upholstered chairs in creamy ivory fabrics. We opted to set our dining table with mismatched china, organic napkins from Silk + Willow and metallic elements. Organic garden inspired florals came in jewel tones and metallic vessels. Taper candles with brass candlesticks and place cards with hand calligraphy helped to complete the overall look. A table for snacking held an assortment of treats like fresh cheeses and a gourmet meat selection for a farm-to-table inspired charcuterie display. Our charcuterie display also housed a tiered dessert display with chocolate ganache tarts, miniature strawberry shortcakes and blueberry parfaits. We dressed a rustic industrial bar cart with an assortment of eclectic wines, unique liquors, and mismatched glassware. We set up a lounge area with ivory upholstery, velvet throw pillows and a stunning taupe sheepskin throw. Our talented calligrapher designed a custom stationery suite from organic handmade paper. Our stunning model wore a blush Tara Keely gown with a fur stoll, while her handsome groom donned a navy suit, sans tie. This shoot was the perfect inspiration for any Truckee River wedding.
