As a Lake Tahoe wedding planner, planning your own wedding can be straight up weird sometimes. I’m so often used to being on a more logical side of planning, which has left me more readily able to make decisions not based out of emotion. Being the bride, though? I would be lying if I said it didn’t make me uncomfortable at times. I’m not always the best at being the focal point of attention and I do feel a little jaded going through this process as it is a very familiar process. However, there are quite a few things that I feel I have learned throughout the process so far:
We’ll be tying the knot this October 6th at Gatekeeper’s Museum in Tahoe City and we couldn’t be more excited. For our engagement session we opted for a more casual approach to things and had our photographer tail us around some of our favorite local spots in Midtown Reno. We walked by the river sculptures, had cocktails at Death & Taxes and finished with some shots at the new Renaissance Hotel.
